Hello y'all. My full name is Vincentius Daniel Budidharma. I go by Daniel. Currently studying @UCSD, I have many interests in Software Engineering, ML, and Data Science.

The biggest value I've gotten from my degree is seeing how a lot of problems can be solved (or at least significantly improved) through software and automation. I'm especially drawn to teams that value curiosity and finding new ways to increase productivity using technology. I also keep a long backlog of ideas aimed at reducing manual work.

Outside of work, I also enjoy hiking, movies, strategy/resource management video games, and reading.

About this site

I deliberately built this site with minimal AI assistance, since I depend on AI for so much of my work these days. Call it an attempt to relearn the very basics of web development from scratch (and also remove that AI front-end look).

I also deliberately kept it simple. People do too much with flashy animations and effects these days, especially with AI. User interfaces should be plain and fast.
